What began as a restored 1920s industrial loft has become one of San Francisco's most sought-after event spaces.

The Grand Atelier was founded by Isabelle Moreau with a singular vision: create a space where architecture, hospitality, and artistry converge. Housed in a landmark building in the heart of SoMa, the venue blends original exposed brick and steel beams with contemporary design — a juxtaposition that gives every event its own character.

Over 18 years, we have hosted more than 1,200 events — from intimate elopements and milestone birthdays to Fortune 500 product launches and charity galas. Our approach has never changed: listen deeply, plan meticulously, and execute flawlessly.
